Fingerprinting

The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office offers fingerprinting services for private employers, state agencies, and other entities. These services allow submission of applicants' fingerprints to the FBI and the Louisiana Department of Public Safety (DPS) to identify prospective employees or agents. Background checks determine eligibility for positions involving children, the elderly, and/or the disabled, and verify if the applicant has a criminal record or convictions for offenses such as stalking or domestic violence. The service also checks if the applicant is a convicted sex offender.

Ink Print Cards are also available at a cost of $10. Payment can be made via cash or money order (made out to TPSO).
