Sheriff's Scholarship Program

The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office, in collaboration with the Louisiana Sheriffs' Association, proudly awards an annual $500 scholarship. This scholarship is aimed at supporting deserving students in their pursuit of higher education and training. Funded through the Louisiana Sheriff's Honorary Membership Program, reflects our commitment to providing educational opportunities and nurturing the potential of Louisiana's youth ad future leaders.

The scholarship is open to graduating high school students from Tangipahoa Parish. The application process is straightforward, ensuring fairness and accessibility for all eligible candidates.

Applications must be submitted to the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office. Application forms can be obtained and returned at our offices in Amite (313 East Oak Street) or Hammond (15475 W. Club Deluxe Road), or mailed to:
