Sheriff's Scholarship Program

The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office, in collaboration with the Louisiana Sheriffs' Association, proudly awards an annual $1000 scholarship. This scholarship is aimed at supporting deserving students in their pursuit of higher education and training. Funded through the Louisiana Sheriff's Honorary Membership Program, this program reflects our commitment to providing educational opportunities and nurturing the potential of Louisiana's youth and future leaders.

The scholarship is open to graduating high school students from Tangipahoa Parish. The application process is straightforward, ensuring fairness and accessibility for all eligible candidates.

Applications must be submitted to the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office. Application forms can be obtained at the link below and returned via email to pio@tpso.org, in person at either our Amite office (313 E Oak Street) or Hammond office (15475 Club Deluxe Road) or mailed to:
